Ba Chor Mee podcast part 2
Go and download it to listen. Find out why the ba chor mee uncle raises his ba chor mee from $3 to $6 and listen to him justifying to his customers why he had to increase e.g. never increase since 1994, want good ba chor mee must pay more, and that the uncle could have sold chicken rice in another neighbourhood but sacrifice to sell ba chor mee instead. A hilarious parody of the whole furore over the ministerial pay hike issue.
If you think the original Ba Chor Mee podcast was good, this one is even better. DO NOT MISS IT. I vote for it to be the best podcast of the year.
Go download it from here.
Thanks to Bernard for alerting me to this podcast and giving me a good time laughing. You might want to refrain from listening at 3am in the morning in case you wake up neighbours with your laughter.

This minister pay hike issue is serious. It is about our lives and future. We cannot trivialise it by satirical writings and humorous parody. Mr. Brown’s mischief is irresponsible – if you don’t eat ba chor mee, you won’t die and the country will not collapse. Without the PAP, Singapore will collapse.
I strongly urge Singaporeans to be more serious about the issue and not to be misled by charlatans like Mr. Brown who seeks to spread his unhealthy cynicism. Politics is serious in Singapore. Just listen to MM Lee, Singapore will collapse, Singapore will sink and our wives & daughter will become maids….certainly no laughing matter.

Lucky Tan ,
indeed we are lucky to have MMLee who deserve to pay $3millions dollars a year along with his extraordinary expensive goverment to prevent Singapore from collapse, from sinking and our beloved wives & daughter from become maids….
Don’t play play, this is definitely no laughing matter although their justification for high pay is something that only Mr Bean can hilariously agreed on.

Amazing! MM doth protest too much; he rants like an old man who cannot let go. If he had kept a dignified silence, he’d have been more effective.
The SIA pilot’s pay issue is one of greater responsibility, not bigger, more complex or heavier aircraft. I’m inclined to draw a parallel between the pilots and our ministers and say let us remunerate them well (the pilots, I mean!).
I guess the government people and those connected to the government and linked organisations need their SIA perks – and so the cost must come out of SIA’s staff pockets.
Seems like most of our 4.5m are needed to support 3000 elite. I’d like to know who picked these 3000.
