I think your observations and analysis are correct. There is actually
no real threat to the papas in the next two GEs. At present, the 
oppos seems to be in disarray and the new reform party seems 
unable to take root.

As you&#039;ve said, papas&#039; problem is long-term, not short-term. When
the younger generations, who are internet savvy, gather volume ,
when temasick and gic&#039;s long-term investments (as of today) 
become no more long-term (and suffer heavy losses when the 
time for reckoning arrived), when more and more old people are 
seen roaming the streets to collect empty cans, sell tissue papers 
and beg for a living, and when the old man becomes ashes,
then and only then will the papas&#039; position be threatened.

The papas are digging their own graves now  in order to bury 
themselves, NOT the future younger voters!
