Eating@SG
I realised that I’ve eaten at quite a fair number of places in Singapore and there are a number of places I really like so I’m going to list them all down. Hopefully you will like them too! I’ll update this page from time to time as I try more eating places.
Highly recommended restaurants
Dozo (River Valley Rd, Valley Point) - Excellent service, wonderful French-Japanese cuisine.
Absolute Haven (Prinsep Street) - Great service, nice ambience and yummy European styled cuisine. The air-con was a little strong, though.
Ristorante De Parma (Kensington Park Rd, Serangoon Gardens) - Quiet and homely place. Serves Italian cuisine. Do not miss the chocolate fondant dessert.
Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant (Keppel Road, Prima Tower) - Great view of Sentosa and I like the way they slice the Peking duck in in front of you.
Soup Restaurant (Suntec City) - Great place for local Chinese cuisine, especially their boiled soup.
Hooked! (Upper Bukit Timah, Rail Mall) - The ONLY place I go for cooked fish these days.
Masala Art (North Bridge Road, Penisula Plaza) - Wonderful variety of Indian cuisine. I’m not a big fan of Indian cuisine but I loved this place.
Bistro One Zero Three (Pasir Panjang) - Forget all other pasta outlets. This is THE place for pasta.
Relatively cheap and decent places
Nihon Mura (Jurong West Stadium) - I lost count of the number of times I’ve gone there for 99 cents sushi.
Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao (various outlets) - the cheapest decent handmade noodle chain.
818 Kopitiam (Jurong Road Track 22, behind Bukit Batok heavy vehicle park) - This place is completely out of the way but their zi char fare is the best I’ve tasted, and it’s cheap. You’ll probably need a car, though.
