Congratulations! Mine was Saturday afternoon.

I agree with your view that graduation ceremonies are more for the families and loved ones of the graduand; to me, commencement was more like a formality that merely signified the official end of my NUS days, which ended when I received my last exam results slip.

But it is a good opportunity for an entire class to get together and camwhore with everyone imaginable - classmates, classmates’ friends, favourite lecturers, classmates’ attractive siblings (haha). I wonder if any of my classmates managed to take a photo with Eunice Olsen. (She was guest speaker at my ceremony)

Funny how most of us probably couldn’t wait to graduate, but now that it has finally happened, we can’t help but reminisce on the memories of the past 4 years.
